Der LCS-8031N IEEE 802.11n Entwurf 2.0 Wireless PCI Adapter bietet dem Benutzer ein nach IEEE 802.11n Entwurf 2.0 Wireless Netzwerk bis zu 300 Mbps im 2.4GHz Band, dies ist auch kompatibel mit IEEE 802.11b/g Wireless Geräten mit 11/54 Mbps. Er erlaubt eine Ad-hoc Modus Verbindung sowie Infrastruktur Verbindung zu anderen Access Points oder Router um in das Internet zu gelangen. Im Lieferumfang ist eine Software, die eine einfache und umfangreiche Installation ermöglicht. Die Verschlüsselung ist auf dem Stand der Zeit.
