The DisplayPort 1.4 connection cable by Good Connections® ensures a consistently high signal transmission up to 8K / UHD-2 due to the combination of a high cable structure with triple shielding and plugs with copper contacts and locking device (detent). DisplayPort 1.4 – Resolutions up to 8K/ UHD-2 at 60Hz and 4K at 240Hz This high-quality DisplayPort cable supports resolutions up to 8K / UHD-2 at 60Hz and 4K at 240Hz (color sampling 4:2:0 or DSC) with a band width of max. 25,92 Gbit/s (via HDBR3) and therefore meets the DisplayPort 1.4. standard requirements. 32 audio channels are being supported at a sample rate / sampling rate of 1.536 kHz. Thus all common audio formates can be processed, e.g. the new surround sound Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and Auro 3D. Display Stream Compression (DSC) 1.2 and Forward Error Correction (FEC) The DSC-Technology is about a visually loss-free compression process, which is used for resolutions over 5120x2880 at 60Hz and compresses streamed video data in a ratio of 3:1. DisplayPort 1.4 is therefore able to render 8K / UHD-2 at 60 Hz with 10 Bit HDR (High Dynamic Range / High Dynamic Range Image) or 12 Bit. The FEC ensures a flawless transmission of compressed DSC-data. High-quality materials and triple shielding The shielded plugs with gold-plated contacts ensure an optimal connection. The locking device on the plugs prohibits an accidental slip out of the plugs. The cables conductor consists by 99,99% of oxygen-free copper (OFC/CU). This enables, in connection with the high-quality triple shielding, a loss-free signal transmission and a higher breaking strength of the cable.
