In addition to that, 32 audio channels are being supported at a sampling rate of 1.536 kHz. All known audio formats can therefore be processed, e.g. the new surround sound format Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and Auro 3D. Display Stream Compression (DSC) 1.2 and Forward Error Correction (FEC) The DSC-Technology is a visual lossless compression method which is used for resolutions over 5120x2880 @60Hz. It compresses the streamed video data in a 3:1 ratio. DisplayPort 1.4 is able to project 8K / UHD-2 @60 Hz with 10 Bit HDR (High Dynamic Range) respectively 12 Bit. The FEC secures the transmission of the compressed DSC data. High-quality materials, triple shielding and nylon mesh The massive and shielded full metal plugs with gold-plated contacts ensure an optimal connection. The locking mechanism, which is installed onto the plugs, prevents an accidental slip-out. The plugs are being protected against corrosion, due to their galvanizing. The conductor of the cable consists by 99,99% of oxygen free copper (OFC). In connection with the high-quality triple shielding, this enables a los-fee signal transmission and a higher breaking strength of the cable. The nylon mesh gives your cable an asthetic touch!
