Die EX-41016-2 PCI I/O Karte stellt sechzehn serielle RS232 High Performance UART 16C1050 Ausgänge zur Verfügung. Sie ist entwickelt worden um sechzehn weitere Seriellen Ports für PC, kleine Workstation oder Server über den PCI– oder PCI-X Bus zu erweitern. Die Karte ist voll Plug-and-Play kompatibel und unterstützt Linux und SCO-Unix. Die EX-41016-2 kann auch in ein Low Profile Computer-Gehäuse mit maximaler Bauhöhe von 8cm eingebaut werde. Zusätzlich ist +5V oder +12V auf Pin 9 der Seriellen Stecker konfigurierbar für ein POS System (Power over System).
